VectoHorizon — Privacy Policy

VectoHorizon ("the app") is developed and published by Sixtopia.net ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and what happens to it. The short version: VectoHorizon does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Everything the app displays is computed on your device.

1. Data We Collect

None. VectoHorizon has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers of our own. We never receive, store, or process any data about you or your device.

2. Data Processed on Your Device

To function as a flight instrument display, the app reads the following sensors — with your permission where iOS requires it:

• Location (GPS): used to display your position, altitude, speed, course, and to center the moving map. Processed in memory on your device only. Location is never transmitted to us or stored by the app.
• Motion sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometric altimeter): used to drive the attitude indicator, heading rose, and sensor graphs. Processed in memory on your device only.

Sensor readings are kept only as long as needed to render the display and short-term graphs, and are discarded when the app closes. You can withdraw location or motion permission at any time in iOS Settings; the related instruments will simply show no data.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores your preferences (units, coordinate format, map type, display options) and, if you enter one, your OpenAIP API key. This data remains in the app's local storage on your device, is not synced or transmitted to us, and is deleted when you delete the app.

4. Third-Party Map Services

When you view the map, the app requests map imagery directly from the provider you have selected:

• Apple Maps (standard, satellite, and hybrid maps), provided by Apple Inc. See Apple's privacy policy.
• OpenAIP (optional aeronautical charts, only if you enter your own OpenAIP API key), provided by OpenAIP. See OpenAIP's privacy policy.

Like any internet request, these tile requests expose your IP address and the requested map area (which corresponds approximately to your location) to the respective provider. These requests go directly from your device to the provider; we are not involved and receive nothing. If you do not open the map, no such requests are made.

5. Children's Privacy

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Because we do not collect or process any personal data, there is no data for us to access, correct, export, or erase. If you believe we hold data about you, or have any privacy question, contact us and we will respond in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7. Changes to This Policy

If a future version of the app changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and the effective date before that version is released.
